The school and its context

Redmyre School is a non-denominational, co-educational school and serves the village of Fordoun near Laurencekirk and the surrounding rural area. We have a thriving local community and a very supportive and active  parent council and parent forum.

Our values are very important to us! They help us to achieve our vision for all our children. By promoting and demonstrating them on a daily basis a positive, supportive and nurturing ethos is developed within our school and its community. Through developing a growth mindset, children are supported to understand and demonstrate resilience and success in all aspects of their learning and wellbeing, now and for the future.
